Welcome
Welcome to the website of St Andrew’s church, Nether Wallop, a place of Christian worship for over a thousand years.
We offer you a warm welcome in a beautiful church, rich in history. We have regular Sunday services, introducing aspects of contemporary worship into a traditional service style. Current service information is available below. The PCC is committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship at St Andrew’s and to become part of our church community. Our mission is to put faith into practice through prayer and scripture.
The origins of St Andrew’s Church date from the 11th Century. Its Anglo-Saxon footprint is discernible today and it has many features of unique architectural interest. Most significantly the walls of St Andrew’s are adorned with some of the country’s most important medieval wall murals. St Andrew’s is open every day of the year for visitors and those who wish to find peace and prayer in our tranquil church.
The Parish of Nether Wallop is closely linked with St Peter’s Church, Over Wallop and has been part of the Portway and Danebury Team Ministry since 2009. The other churches in this Team Ministry are St Leonard’s Grateley, St Mary’s Amport, St Michael’s Quarley, and St Mary’s Monxton.
